Aug. '08: The club journals have all been stripped down, covered in sanitary powder, and sprayed with a pressure washer. Their shrieks of protest were largely ignored and later they were fed a watery soup with a flavor reminiscent of potatoes...

In other words, the club's previous journals have all been either deleted or further compacted. This is a simple effort to reduce the clutter that seems to amass in them.
